Steve is a Professor of Information Science and Science and Technology Studies, former Chair of the Cornell Information Science Department, and former House Professor-Dean at Keeton House.

Gary Koretzky is interim vice provost for research, a professor emeritus of medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, and a professor emeritus of microbiology and immunology at the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine.  Gary was an undergraduate at Cornell and is particularly pleased to be a Keeton House fellow as he spent the summer of 1976 doing field research with Bill Keeton!

Dr. Karl Lewis joined the Meinig School as an assistant professor in July 2020. Dr. Lewis’s research interests center on understanding the interplay of mechanical cues and biological changes in musculoskeletal tissues. As a trained engineer, Dr. Lewis views the body as a system of sub-systems with a wide range of input and output signals.

Felix Litvinsky started at Cornell in January 2016 and is a Managing Director of Blackstone LaunchPad at Cornell University. Blackstone LaunchPad is an experiential university wide entrepreneurship program offering coaching, ideation and venture creation support to students, alumni, staff and faculty.

Beth received her Juris Doctor at Georgetown University Law Center. She is a practicing lawyer and, alongside her students, advocates on behalf of low-income asylum seekers, farmworkers, and farmworker families in local, state, federal and international fora.

Vida is a professor in the Sociology Department and studies social inequality and how it comes about. How do families come to have certain bundles of resources? How is inequality passed down from parents to children? How does it change over time?

Alan Martinez is Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships at the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability where he focuses on building and managing partnerships that connect the expertise and research capacity at Cornell with sustainability partners in nonprofit, government and private sector organizations.

Jessica Levin Martinez is the Richard J. Schwartz Director of the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University. She is a leading advocate for museum-based interdisciplinary teaching with global collections. Before joining Cornell in 2019, she directed academic and public programs at Harvard Art Museums and the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art.

Doug McKee is a senior lecturer in Economics where he teaches a variety of big intermediate level courses and runs the department’s Active Learning Initiative (https://as.cornell.edu/education-innovation#ALI).

Mostafa Minawi is an Associate Professor of history. Broadly, his research focuses on the study of Ottoman imperialism at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. His latest book, Losing Istanbul, is an intimate history of Arab-Ottoman imperialists living through the final decades of the empire in Istanbul.
