Rose House Office

The hub of all things in the House, the House Office is your first stop for assistance. Much more than a place to pick up your mail and send out-going letters, the House Office is where you can find out about what events are happening in the House and how to sign up. The House Office Assistants are also available to help with lock-outs and provide resources for facilities issues that might arise.

Mail and Packages

Mail is delivered Monday through Saturday, courier (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.) and USPS mail is typically delivered in the afternoon. Please use the format below when addressing your mail to campus:

Lockouts 

During House Office hours, come to the House Office window for assistance. After hours, you will need to call the GRF on-call for assistance.

Standard Hours

Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

If the house office is not open, the GRF on-call can be reached from the yellow campus phones located outside the main doorways or from your cell at 607-327-1274. Please note that house office hours are subject to change prior to and during academic breaks. Summer House Office Hours: Mon-Fri - 9am-4pm

Rose House Facilities

No matter which section of Flora Rose House you live in, you have access to all exterior doors and all public lounges and facilities. 

South Baker Hall

Lounge, study room, and kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, sink, oven/stove top) are all located on the ground floor in between both wings.

Founders Hall

Lounge, study room, and kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, sink, oven/stove top) are located on the ground floor on the north side of the building.

Mennen Hall

Lounge is located on the ground floor. Mennen shares a kitchen with Lyon. Mennen and Lyon have an interior connection on the ground/first floors.

Lyon Hall

Lounge and laundry are located on the ground floor. The kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, sink, oven/stove top) is located on the first floor. Lyon and Mennen have an interior connection on the ground/first floors.

Rose Main

House Office (mail room and service center), Dining Room, Pantry (microwave, sink, oven/stove top), Common Room, Maker-space Room, Music Practice Room, Laundry Room, House Professor & Assistant Dean Offices are all located on the ground floor. On the first floor you will find the Library, Seminar Room, Conference Room, Small Study Rooms. On the second floor you will find a kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, sink) and study nook. A study nook is also available on the third floor.
