Kay Lewis
Assistant Dean
Kay has built her career around helping students find connection, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Before finding her home at Keeton House, she worked in Residential Life at several universities and later supported students through Career Services at Cornell's ILR School and the College of Arts & Sciences. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Photography from RIT and a Master's in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University.
Kay believes college is about much more than earning a degree. It's an opportunity to discover who you are, build meaningful relationships, and grow with purpose. Guided by her commitment to equity, access, and inclusion, she strives to create communities where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to be their authentic self. She loves helping students build confidence, discover what matters most to them, and make a positive impact wherever they go.
Outside of work, Kay loves anything creative—whether it’s jewelry making, taking random art classes, or building elaborate forts with her nieces. You’ll also find her hiking in the woods, exploring local coffee shops and bookstores, playing board games with friends, or spending time with her partner and their animals.
