Alix is Assistant Dean for Communications at Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning and is pursuing a Ph.D. in the History of Architecture and Urban Development through Cornell's Employee Degree program. Her communications and marketing career spans the fine art, luxury, and e-commerce sectors, with experiences at Jean Paul Gaultier, Sotheby's, and Art Basel, in Paris, London, Basel, New York, and Buenos Aires. She has developed international partnerships across public and private sectors and helps organizations reach new communities through branding, storytelling, and marketing. 

Outside work, Alix enjoys cycling, sailing, dancing, and teaching tango with her husband in the Cornell community.
