Dale R. Corson House Professor-Dean
Christopher Alabi is a science-loving, soccer-watching, ping-pong-playing professor who calls Cornell home—both professionally and personally. Born in Nigeria, schooled in England, and educated across NYU, Caltech, and MIT, Chris eventually landed in Ithaca in 2013, where he’s been teaching, mentoring, and researching ever since.

Assistant Dean
Perdita grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and immigrated to the U.S. in 2008. While her family settled in Chicago, she attended the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and earned her B.S. and M.B.A degrees in International Business and Accounting. After college, Perdita served as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America), in Connecticut, North Carolina, and New York.

House Administrative Coordinator
Mason Averett holds a B.A in Culture and Communications from Ithaca College. Prior to joining Hans Bethe House he worked in the prosthetics industry, coached rowing, and trained as a boatbuilder. He enjoys using his experience to increase accessibility for all, and to help folks reach their goals.

House Chef/Manager
Chef Kevin Moore began his career at Cornell Dining in 1989, as a dish machine operator at Robert Purcell Marketplace Eatery. His experience and career only grew from there, as he served in many roles, working his way up through the organization and forming critical partnerships with his team.
