Matthew Jarek is a student of the School of Industrial and Labor Relations. His professional interests lie at the intersection of law and finance, especially in emerging markets and equity research. After Cornell, he hopes to attend a T14 Law School and break into Corporate Law. Beyond the classroom, Matt is an avid athlete. Growing up in Poland, football has been a passion his entire life. He also played Volleyball in high school, Basketball in college, and competed in international Taekwondo competitions. Matt also loves travelling and SCUBA diving, and has visited most of Central America with hopes to travel to Asia one day. During his spare time, he plays the saxophone, works on cars, and loves to play FIFA and Rainbow Six Siege. He is excited to contribute to Flora Rose House's vibrant community and spend the next year as a URF.
