Carl Becker House
Welcome to Carl Becker House!

Becker House is one of five houses in Cornell’s West Campus Housing System. Named for distinguished professor of American and European history, Carl Lotus Becker, the House brings the mission of “learning where you live” alive for about 380 sophomores, juniors and seniors for whom Becker is their Cornell home.
At Becker we build community around a weekly House Dinner, and through initiatives that include informal conversations with visiting speakers (Becker Café), opportunities for community service, arts and well-being programming, and other programs hosted by faculty, active residents, and by our wonderful live-in Graduate and Undergraduate student staff.
Explore the website to learn more about life at Becker and what it's like to be a member of our community!
