Michela Baraldi
Full Teaching Professor of Italian Language
Michela Baraldi is a Full Teaching Professor of Italian Language in the Department of Romance Studies. Originally from Bologna, Italy, she has been at Cornell since 2002, teaching across all levels of Italian language and culture, including her popular course on Italian Food Culture. Deeply passionate about community building and experiential learning, Michela has long served as the faculty advisor for the Italian Club, frequently organizing cooking workshops and cultural field trips, such as the annual student excursions to the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. As a House Fellow, she is incredibly excited to connect with Flora Rose House residents over shared meals, casual conversations, and collaborative cultural or cooking events.
