Michael Factor
Undergraduate Resident Fellow
Hello all! My name is Michael Factor, I am an Entomology major in CALS, and a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. I currently work in the Moreau lab as an undergraduate researcher studying Traditional Ecological Knowledge Practice Systems. I am originally from North Texas and absolutely love talking about insects, especially beetles in the superfamily Scarabaeoidea, which I could talk about for hours. If I am ever blabbing about them too much feel free to cut me off. I am also very invested in combat sports like wrestling, BJJ, sumo, MMA, and Judo; I stay involved with the latter as the Vice President of the Cornell Judo Club and would love to meet potential new members. My other hobbies include gardening, fishing, foraging, or really anything outdoors! I transferred into Cornell my sophomore year and know all the struggles that transferring entails. If you are a new transfer student (or anyone in general) and need advice, help, or just someone to talk to, feel free to reach out!
