Mayar Darawsha

Mayar Darawsha is a J.S.D. candidate at Cornell Law School, specializing in Public International Law and the laws of armed conflict. Her dissertation examines the policy of targeted killing and its intersection with the right of self-determination. Prior to pursuing her J.S.D. studies, Mayar obtained her LL.M. at Cornell Law School as well. Before coming to Cornell, Mayar practiced law for two years. She earned her LL.B. from Tel-Aviv University. Mayar does powerlifting without breaking her back, enjoys listening to music that nobody likes (sadly), and loves watching horror movies with her eyes closed.
