Raina Plowright is a veterinarian, ecologist, and professor in Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine who studies how viruses jump from wildlife to people and how we can prevent the next pandemic. Born and raised in Australia, her work has taken her around the world following wildlife, investigating disease outbreaks, and having plenty of adventures along the way.
